Auction

When a borrower’s collateralized IP (NFT) reaches the Liquidation Threshold (LTH), it is made available for auction on Pixcross. This transparent auction process allows users to acquire high-value digital assets while helping to recover outstanding debt for the protocol.

To participate in an auction, follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to the "Auctions" Page

Click on the "Auctions" tab in the main navigation menu. This page lists all active auctions across supported networks, featuring NFTs currently being liquidated.

2. Review Auction Details

For each listed asset, you’ll find key information such as:

  • Floor Price: The minimum price at which bidding can start.

  • Debt: The outstanding loan amount secured by the collateralized NFT.

  • First Bid Bonus: Incentives for initiating the auction, if applicable.

  • Potential Profit: A calculated estimate of your potential gain based on the current bid and asset valuation.

3. Search, Filter, and Sort

Use the available search bar, filters, or sort options to browse auctions by chain, asset type, status, or performance metrics.

4. Select an IP to Bid On

Click on the asset you’re interested in to open its detailed auction page. Here, you can view complete metadata, bid history, and time remaining.

5. Place a Bid

Click the "Place a Bid" button and enter your desired bid amount.

Note: Your bid must meet or exceed the minimum requirements, such as the starting price or incremental increase (typically 10% over the previous bid).

6. Complete the Transaction

Confirm and approve the transaction using your wallet. Ensure you have a sufficient balance of both:

  • The bid currency (e.g., USDC), and

  • The native token for gas fees on the selected chain (e.g., ETH, AVAX).

Once submitted, your bid will be locked on-chain. If you are outbid, your funds will be automatically refunded. If your bid wins at the close of the 24-hour auction period, the ownership of the IP/NFT will be transferred to your wallet, and your payment will be used to settle the outstanding loan and interest.

Pixcross supports cross-chain auctions across Ethereum Sepolia, Base Sepolia, Arbitrum Sepolia, and Avalanche Fuji, ensuring broad access to on-chain intellectual property markets.
